Top 5

My Top 5 Fictional…

… Villains.

The very unscheduled Top 5 feature makes another appearance. This time I’m talking about my favourite villains.

#5 Count Rugan (The Princess Bride – William Goldman)

Princess Bride
I love the Princess Bride. Count Rugan is one of the many ace things about the book, he’s evil in the sense that he plans to murder his wife so he can frame an entire country in order to go to war. It’s rather devious.

#4 Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes – Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

He’s an evil genius that very nearly killed off Sherlock himself. Need I say much more?

#3 Sebastian/Jonathan (The Mortal Instruments – Cassandra Clare)

How many times can Leah mention the mortal instruments in these top five posts? Sebastian/Jonathan has two names, because he is twice as evil as most people. He quite literally has demon blood in his veins, he kidnapped his semi adopted half brother, tried to rape his sister and generally attempt mass genocide and world domination.

#2 Lord Voldemort (Harry Potter – JK Rowling)

He had to appear at some point didn’t he? He tried to kill off the muggles, he tried to weed out muggle borns and half bloods, he murdered Harry’s parents and Cedric and a whole host of other people. He’s a bad egg. Trust me.

#1 Sauron.(The Lord of the Rings – JRR Tolkien)

He spent most of his time being a giant firey eye sending ring wraiths after poor little Hobbits. He left Middle Earth in fear. But he got his comeuppance as evil people do at the hand of a great woman.

So, those are my top five villains, who should have been on this list? Let me know!
